On February 24-27, 2027, the Alabama Conference of Social Work will bring together social workers, related professionals, and students to expand their knowledge through attending our conference and gaining continuing education hours for licensure. Our conference theme is THE TIDES OF CHANGE: HONORING OUR LEGACY, SHAPING OUR FUTURE. We offer a unique opportunity to network with colleagues, meet presenters from around the nation, and gain new knowledge and skills. We would love for you to support our 501-c nonprofit organization!

Meet Your Target Audience 

The Alabama Conference of Social Work is the largest conference for social workers and related professionals in Alabama. The conference began in 1916 and except for four years, there has been an annual conference in the state. This year is our 111th year in existence!

The conference draws around 550 on-site participants. Fortunately, we have had outstanding relationships with corporate providers and service organizations who have assisted the conference with their contributions or as exhibitors at the conference. With the increasing costs of the hotel, food, speakers and student recruitment, we are exploring various options of support who will partner with us on this vital and important conference for Social Workers and other related professionals. This allows our registration cost to stay at a level that the participants can afford.
